This beautifully crafted statue of Christus  is crafted by Abu Louis, one of the most renowned artists in Bethlehem, who has dedicated over 57 years to this art form. It represents the invitation of Jesus Christ to all, as expressed in Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” This piece embodies the message of love, compassion, and salvation. The design draws inspiration from the iconic sculptures of Jesus and the apostles found in the Church of Our Lady in Copenhagen, completed in 1821.
